Do you questions about international insurance and feel overwhelmed by the various countries’ rules and regulations? Do you have concerns regarding your organization’s protection from its overseas exposures? Our speaker, Fran Strollo, is the Chief Underwriting Officer for ACE Foreign Casualty. She is a Drexel University graduate who started her career with INA (an ACE predecessor company) while a student at Drexel. Upon graduation she worked for 10 years in various financial positions including the Field Controller for the Latin America Area. She switched into underwriting in 1989 and has worked in and led the international cash flow casualty product line until her assumption of the Chief Underwriting position in 2007. She earned her CPCU designation in 1991.
This dinner meeting will start with an introduction as to when foreign insurance coverage is necessary. Fran will discuss the carrier/broker market for this coverage, things that should be considered when placing the coverage, and then she will get into the fun stuff- all of the hot topics surrounding the coverage and current market conditions, such as compliance and the defense base act. Fran has also traveled around the world and she has lots of great anecdotes to keep things interesting. We will conclude the session with an in-depth question and answer session with this industry expert
