Meet Our New Slate of Philly CPCU Officers & Directors for 2021!
Toward the end of last year, during the pandemic when our chapter was unable to meet, our slate of new officers & directors were confirmed for 2021. This was based on a tallied quorum received and affirmed by our Chapter Secretary, of all our online voting conducted by our paid chapter membership. Our new line-up is listed below. Our 7/30 Chapter Zoom Meeting & Charitable Donation to PHL COVID-19 Fund
The Philadelphia Chapter hosted a virtual meeting/webinar on Zoom on July 30th with guest speaker, Benjamin Collier from Temple University, presenting on "Post COVID-19: The Future of Public-Private Partnerships." Due to the severe adverse economic impacts of the pandemic from federal and state-mandated shutdowns and decrease in demand for products/services (in addition to the obvious health effects), Ben presented the dire need for a "pandemic relief" or "PRIA" model, somewhat similar to what the industry currently has for TRIA to cover catastrophic terrorism acts -- to cover future pandem

Platinum Circle of Excellence Recognition for 2019
"We are pleased to announce that your Philadelphia CPCU Society Chapter has been honored by the CPCU Society with the highest level of achievement -- the 2019 Circle of Excellence Platinum Award. This recognition is based upon the chapter achieving certain metrics of performance during the year. Of course, a chapter is only as effective as those who show a true interest in the ethics and continuing learning embodied in the CPCU pledge, by continuing their membership and being active as their time permits.
